Natural stoneSM-2 deepens the colour of marble for a wet-stone effect. On marble that changes not only the ground but the contrast of the veining - the pattern of the stone becomes more pronounced.
The effect is permanent, so before sealing the whole surface, test on an inconspicuous section - especially on pale marble, which can look quite different after SM-2 from what you expect.
Coverage about 20 m² per litre, application temperature +10 to +25 °C - a narrower range than the colourless version. To care for the sealed surface you can use cleaning products of pH 3-12.
Stone forgives less than concrete. An acidic cleaner used on marble or travertine will etch the surface irreversibly, and excess sealer on a polish leaves a smear that can no longer be removed.
After sealing, polished stone usually stays out of use for 72 hours.
Before sealing the whole area, test on a patch hidden by a planter or in a corner of the patio. The same product can read differently on two batches of the same material, and on a surface with old coating left on it, it will not bond at all.
Not always. Marble is soft and sensitive to acids, granite is not, so the product has to match the type of stone. Before you buy, check that marble is on the list of recommended substrates.
With cleaning products of the right pH. For the polished-stone range that is usually pH 5-9 for the invisible versions, and a wider range for the wet-look ones. You will find the range for your product in its technical data.
It helps, though not in every case. It limits the ingress of water and the compounds dissolved in it, including those that discolour stone from below. It will not stop processes inside the stone itself, or rust from fixings.
Because the product bonds with the stone slowly, and during that time the surface is particularly vulnerable. After eight hours marks from shoes, knee pads or uneven polishing can no longer be removed.
Yes. This is a solvent-based product, so make sure the room is well ventilated during application and for 72 hours afterwards.
Enter the area and how absorbent the substrate is. We work out the litres and the packs.
This figure applies to polished stone - on a more absorbent material, coverage will be lower.

A sealer will not bond to a dirty surface. Start by cleaning it thoroughly.
