An acidic concentrate for frequent cleaning of floors where scale and mineral deposits build up. It has a pH of approx. 2 and the working solution 3-4, so use it only on acid-resistant surfaces.
Concrete and floorsC-2 is the acidic counterpart of C-12: the same dilution scheme and the same purpose - frequent washing of floors - but the opposite pH. Concentrate approx. 2.0, working solution 3-4.
Reach for it where scale, mineral deposits and hard-water residue build up on the floor. For grease and organic soiling choose the alkaline C-12.
Because it is acidic, do not use it on surfaces that are not acid resistant - marble, travertine and limestone in particular. Always test it in an inconspicuous spot before washing.
Concrete accepts a sealer only when it is dry, clean and seasoned. A fresh slab is still giving off mix water and will push any coating off with it.
A new floor and fresh precast units need time to season - for precast concrete it is usually around 28 days.
Before sealing the whole area, test on a patch hidden by a planter or in a corner of the patio. The same product can read differently on two batches of the same material, and on a surface with old coating left on it, it will not bond at all.
Yes, if you choose a product that forms a polymer layer - it binds the loose particles on the surface and gives a dust-free finish. It is not a substitute for a hardener where the concrete itself is dusting because it was poorly floated - the problem is then in the slab, not on it.
Yes - choose a product approved for indoor use. With a solvent-based one, ventilate during application and for the period given in the product instructions.
Remove them before sealing, with an oil stain remover. A sealer applied over a stain seals it in and fixes it - oil will not evaporate through a sealed layer.
It helps - it limits the ingress of water and the salts dissolved in it.
A 1:4 dilution means one part product to four parts water - a litre of concentrate gives five litres of working solution. Where the ratio is given in ml per litre of water (the C range), work the other way: 50 ml per litre means 20 litres of solution from one litre of concentrate.
No. Marble, travertine and limestone are sensitive to acids - a product at pH 2 will etch the surface. For sensitive stone, choose a cleaner of neutral or slightly alkaline pH.
